About Mastery and Reset
What is The Mastery Venture

The Mastery Venture is a project designed to help those suffering from invisible chronic illnesses, whether physical and/or mental, to navigate and manage the mental health challenges that present themselves.

I provide self-paced, self-help coaching products and services to educate and coach clients gently toward achieving a more positive mindset and ultimately their goals and improved overall well-being.

What is the philosophy behind The Mastery Venture?

Master yourself. Reset your mind. Trust your journey. Together we grow – individually stronger with every step.

Who is behind The Mastery Venture?

Hi, I’m Jenny, and I created The Mastery Venture after learning to adapt to life with an invisible illness myself. Everything I share comes from both lived experience and professional training, designed to help others who feel stuck, discouraged, or overwhelmed find their footing again. You can find out more about me here.

What makes The Mastery Venture different?

It’s created especially for people with invisible chronic illness, using gentle, flexible tools based on neuroplasticity and self-compassion. There’s no pressure to be anything other than who you are. The Mastery Venture supports your self-mastery and personal mastery, helping you recognise your strengths, reconnect with yourself, and make progress in a way that feels aligned with your life.

Why does The Mastery Venture focus on 'invisible' chronic illnesses?

Living with any chronic illness is challenging, but when your condition isn’t clearly visible to those around you, it can, in many ways, be even harder. The main challenge lies in the lack of external recognition — others can’t see the symptoms, so they may underestimate or dismiss your experience, leaving you feeling isolated or misunderstood.

The Mastery Venture brings together those living with invisible chronic illnesses, offering understanding, validation, guidance and coaching to help you reach your goals, improve daily life, and enhance overall wellbeing.

Who is The Mastery Venture for?

I designed The Mastery Venture for those suffering from invisible chronic illness, but also anyone that needs a gentle compassionate approach to learning and feels they can benefit from our assistance and support. My clients are those who genuinely want to help themselves and progress forward with their lives for the better.

Who is The Mastery Venture not for?

Sorry to sound blunt, but I can’t help those who don’t want to help themselves or expect a quick fix to their problems.

Why self-coaching and self-help?

The process of helping yourself can be particularly beneficial for health, especially for those managing chronic illness.

Not only can it be much more cost effective at a time when money may be limited, but also a more adaptable approach that you can 100% shape you as an individual. To give just a few more of the many reasons it will also:

  • enhance your empowerment and self-control
  • improve mental health
  • give you better self management skills in numerous aspects including symptoms and pacing
  • promote consistency in behavioural changes
  • develop better coping skills
  • enable personal growth and fulfilment
  • help you sustain long term results
  • provide an overall improved quality of life leading to a more holistic and balanced approach to well-being

You will have a greater understanding of your true self, your feelings, emotions, beliefs, values and drive. All this comes together to equip you with a powerful foundation for achieving change and reaching goals.

When should you not use self-coaching and self-help?

Self-coaching can be a great tool for personal development, but I’m not going to lie and say it’s ideal for everyone. There are situations where it may not be beneficial or could even be counterproductive:

  • if you suffer from complex or severe mental health issues
  • if you have a lack of objectivity
  • when you procrastinate and need accountability
  • if you have an over-reliance on oneself
  • if you suffer the inability to break negative patterns
  • if you have a misalignment with personal values
  • if you become exacerbating for perfectionism

In these scenarios, it may be more beneficial to seek external support, whether through a coach, therapist, or another trusted individual, to gain the insight, guidance, and accountability needed for effective personal growth.

Do you provide medical or therapeutic advice?

No — The Mastery Venture is not medical or clinical treatment. I offer coaching, education, and self-help tools to complement your healthcare, not replace it.

Can I use your services if I’m already seeing a therapist or healthcare provider?

Yes, definitely. What we offer works beautifully alongside therapy or medical care, helping you apply practical mindset tools between sessions.

I don't live in the UK, can I still use your services and buy your products?

I’d love to include everyone, but at the moment my services and digital products are designed specifically for people living in the UK. This helps ensure everything I offer is relevant, supportive, and aligned with UK compliance, guidance and systems. If I expand my availability in the future, I’ll share the news on our website and social media.

About the Mastery and Reset Academy
What is the Mastery and Reset Academy and who is it for?

The Mastery and Reset Academy is a supportive space for those who are living with invisible chronic illness and want help and support in navigating the mental health challenges that come with it, looking to build a more positive mindset, and move gently toward their goals and improved overall well-being. I also welcome people seeking guidance at a gentle compassionate pace.

Can I join if I have multiple chronic illnesses or low energy?

Absolutely. The Academy is designed with flexibility in mind, so you can go at your own pace, take breaks, and adapt exercises to suit your needs and energy levels.

Are the courses self-paced?

Yes. You can start and take a break whenever you need, without feeling rushed. The goal is steady, gentle progress that fits your life.

There is no pressure whatsoever to get any of the work done by any deadlines. Unless otherwise stated, my services are designed to be accessed at times and places to suit you and when you feel up to it. Work through the content completely at your own pace.

Can I join at anytime?

Yes. Once the Academy is open you can join at any time. The Founding Membership offer is only available for a limited period.

The Academy is currently in creation stage. In the meantime, you can join the waitlist to be the first to know when enrolment begins.

How do I access my courses or membership content?

After purchase or registration, you’ll receive login details to access the content through a secure learning platform called Membervault. All modules are available digitally and printable where appropriate. Some content is delivered via email.

Do I have immediate access to all the content when I join?

Yes, you will have access straight away to the core Academy content. Members may be at different stages in their journey and can choose to start where they feel most appropriate. This allows a flexible approach.

When new content is added it will be made immediately available.

How much support do I get?

I aim to check in within the community space daily, Monday to Friday, to offer encouragement, respond to posts, and help keep the space feeling supported.

If you have an urgent or private question, you can also contact me by email. I do my best to reply within a reasonable timeframe, however, please note that limits may apply (see Terms & Conditions for details).

The Mastery & Reset Academy is designed to support you with clear guidance, structured tools, and community connection — rather than 1:1 coaching, but I’m here to ensure you feel supported and guided along the way.

How does the community feature work?

Our community space is hosted inside MemberVault, so everything you need, your courses, resources, and connection with others is all in one calm, focused place.

It’s a gentle, supportive space where you can share reflections, small wins, or questions as you move through the Academy materials. There’s no pressure to post often or keep up with others, you can join in whenever it feels right for you.

I aim to check in daily, Monday to Friday, to offer encouragement, respond to posts, and help keep the space feeling cared for. Like many of you, I manage my energy carefully, so if I’m quiet one day, know that I’ll be back soon to check in and make sure everyone feels supported.

Weekends are intentionally quiet to give us all time to rest and recharge. You’re welcome to post or comment anytime that feels right — this is your calm corner to connect, reflect, and grow at your own pace.

How do I pay the membership fee?

When you join and pay your first fee a recurring payment will automatically be set up through Stripe and will charge your chosen card the monthly amount on the same date each month. You can pay using credit or debit cards.

Will the membership fee increase?

If you join as a Founding Member your membership fee will stay the same for the entire term of your membership, so no price increases. If you cancel your membership as a Founding Member and decide to rejoin, you will need to sign up at the current normal members fee. Normal member fees may be subject to small increases from time to time.

Can I cancel my membership at any time?

Yes you can and there is no termination fee. Please see our Cancellation and Refund Policy for more information.

Do I need any prior experience or special tools?

No experience needed. Everything is beginner-friendly, simple, and designed to work whether you prefer printable pages or digital access.

You will need an internet connection to be able to access the online coaching and take part in the community aspect, plus an email account. You will need the genuine want to succeed and patience to see positive results.

I'm not great with technology, will this be a problem?

I’m not good with complicated tech! I will try and keep everything simple and easily accessible as possible. If you have any problems at all, please just let me know.

Do you guarantee successful results?

I would love to be able to say yes, and in many cases I have achieved successful results, but the truthful answer is no. Outcomes very much depend on the individual, only you can govern your outcomes. I will endeavour to provide as much help and support as possible, but it is down to you whether you achieve your goal.

Is there a money back guarantee?

There is a 14 day money back guarantee. However, due to the nature of the purchase this is only applicable if the contract has not been partially or fully fulfilled ie you have not accessed or used the content or community in any way. Please see the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

General Information
What is a chronic illness?

A chronic illness is often the term used for a mental and/or physical condition that lasts over a period of time, usually three months or more. The illness may be treatable, but most often it’s a case of managing the symptoms.

What makes a chronic illness as invisible?

A chronic illness is known as invisible when it’s not immediate obvious to others. It can be a physical and/or mental health condition.

I'm in unfamiliar territory with my illness and am still learning about it. Can you still help me?

Yes we can. You really don’t need to have a concrete plan to move forward, you can adapt as you go and change direction at any point. This is quite common and I would always recommend that you allow some flexibility, to reduce pressure on yourself.

I'm fearful of being judged. What is some people don't see my situation as that bad?

I will never judge you. Everyone deals with things differently, problems are relative to an individual and their personal circumstances. What’s difficult for one person may be interpreted completely differently by someone else.

I'm recently diagnosed, can you help me?

Definitely. The early stages and acceptance can be very hard when you’re diagnosed with a chronic illness. This is often the time when people need the most support as they try to adjust to a new reality.

I've lived with a chronic illness for sometime, but feel now is the right time to reach out. Can you help me?

Yes, I can. There is never a wrong time to reach out for help and support. The time needs to be right for you, just jump on board whenever you are ready.

Is coaching the same as counselling?

No. Coaching and counselling are different. Counselling focuses on healing past experiences to help you move forward, while coaching is forward-focused and helps you build skills, confidence, and supportive habits for everyday life. Coaching does not replace therapy or medical care, but it can work alongside them. Both can play a supportive role in mental health and ongoing wellbeing.
