Frequently Asked Questions

If youā€™re anything like me youā€™ll always have questions. Here are those most frequently asked, but if there is anything further youā€™d like to know please get in touch via the contact page or drop me an email directly to jenny@themasteryventure.com.

What is a chronic illness?

A chronic illness is often the term used for a mental and/or physical condition that lasts over a period of time, usually three months or more. The illness may be treatable, but most often it’s a case of managing the symptoms.

Who are our services for?

We welcome anyone with a chronic illness who feels they can benefit from our assistance and support. Our clients are those who genuinely want to progress forward with their lives for the better.

Who are our services NOT for?

It may sound blunt, but we can’t help those who don’t want to help themselves or expect a quick fix to their problems. We can’t deliver if you aren’t prepared to do your bit. You also need to be prepared to have patience and take small manageable steps for lasting results.

What do I need to become a member of the Bootcamp?

You will need an internet connection to be able to access the online coaching and take part in the community aspect, plus an email account. You will need the genuine want to succeed, the patience to see positive results, the willpower to make things happen and some time to do the work.

How is the Bootcamp content delivered?

The Bootcamp content will mainly be delivered via an independent learning management system called Membervault. You will have your own private access details to log in. You will also receive some bits via email.

How do I pay the Bootcamp membership fee?

When you join and pay your first fee a recurring payment will automatically be set up and will charge your chosen card the monthly amount on the same date each month.

Can I cancel my Bootcamp membership fee at any time?

Yes you can and there is no termination fee. Please see our Cancellation and Refund Policy for more information.

Can I join the Bootcamp at any time?

Yes you can. The sooner the better, so you won’t miss anything that could potentially be helpful to you.

Can I have a look inside the Bootcamp before I join?

We don’t offer a free trial, but please do get in touch to ask any questions that you may have.

How much time do I have to complete the work in?

There are no time stipulations, you take as much time as you need. There aren’t any deadlines to meet and there is no pressure, but we do recommend you establish a routine to help you remain accountable to yourself and maintain momentum. If you need help with planning what works best for you please get in touch.

I'm recently diagnosed, can you help me?

Definitely. The early stages and acceptance can be very hard when you’re diagnosed with a chronic illness. This is often the time when people need the most support as they try to adjust to a new reality.

I've lived with a chronic illness for sometime, but feel now is the right time to reach out. Can you help me?

Yes, we can. There is never a wrong time to reach out for help and support. The time needs to be right for you, just jump on board whenever you are ready.

Will the membership fee increase?

If you join as a Founding Member your membership fee will stay the same for the entire term of your membership, so no price increases. If you cancel your membership as a Founding Member and decide to rejoin, you will need to sign up at the current fee available and may be subject to increases.
Please check the terms of ‘special offers’ that will appear from time to time for applicable conditions.

Is there a money back guarantee?

There is a 14 day money back guarantee. However, due to the nature of the purchase this is only applicable if the contract hasĀ notĀ been partially or fully fulfilled ie you have not accessed or used the content or community in any way. Please see the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

I'm not great with technology, will this be a problem?

I’m not good with complicated tech either! I will try and keep everything as easily accessible as possible. If you have any problems at all, please just let me know.

I'm fearful of being judged. Some people don't see my situation as that bad.

At The Mastery Venture we will never judge you. Everyone deals with things differently, problems are relative to an individual and their personal circumstances. What’s difficult for one person may be completely different for someone else.

Do you guarantee successful results?

I would love to be able to say yes, and in many cases we have achieved successful results, but to be brutally blunt the truthful answer is no. Outcomes very much depend on the individual, only you can govern your outcomes. We will endeavour to provide as much help and support as possible, but it is down to you whether you achieve your goal. All we can do is guide you in the right direction.

I have limited time and don't always feel well enough to study, will this be a problem?

There is no pressure whatsoever to get any of the work done by any deadlines. The Bootcamp is designed to be accessed at times and places to suit you and when you feel up to it. Work through the content completely at your own pace.

When I join the Bootcamp will I get immediate access to all the content?

You will get access to the existing content on Membervault and some of the content will be sent to you via email over a period of time. New content will be made available as it is published. We aim not to overwhelm you with too much at once so encourage members to go through it at their own pace.

I'm in unfamiliar territory with my illness and don't know what the future holds for me. Can you still help me?

Yes we can. You really don’t need to have a concrete plan to move forward, you can adapt as you go and change direction at any point. This is quite common and we would always recommend that you allow some flexibility, to reduce pressure on yourself.
